M0-3 AV&R Main Processes

AV&R have been experts in automating manufacturing processes for over 25 years. Here is a brief presentation of the main processes our robotic systems can accomplish.

Polishing

Polishing creates a smooth and shiny surface by friction on machined and forged parts. AV&R robotic systems can polish a variety of materials using different grains of abrasives to achieve finishes up to a mirror finish.

Profiling

Profiling creates high-precision elliptical profiles on parts according to engineering designs. Adaptive and closed-loop capabilities let the system reach very small tolerances.

Deburring

Deburring removes small imperfections known as burrs found on machined and forged metal parts. Our robotic systems remove burrs automatically, even in hard-to-reach places.

Visual Inspection

Visual inspection analyzes produced parts to ensure compliance by identifying defects. Our automated inspection systems detect surface defects, presence or absence of elements, and position of features.
